Inspired by the vision of Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat event has been organized under the banner of Pratap Universityin the industrial city of Uttar Pradesh, Kanpur by ShailendraBhadauria. The purpose of this event was to provide our students an opportunity to showcase their talents and immerse themselves in the rich heritage and traditions of Rajasthan. It acted as a platform for them to express their artistic abilities and explore the cultural nuances associated with the region. This event was an exchange of culture between two states.

Keeping in view the campaign of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”, Pratap University, Jaipur (MaharanaPratap Group) group in Kanpur on 22nd and 23rd July 2023, Saturday and Sunday, for the exchange of culture, language and social ideas between Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. A grand program was organized at Pratap International School, Kalyanpur, Kanpur,whose main objective was to promote the feeling of harmony, unity and equality by strengthening the idea of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.

In this program, reputed schools and colleges from Kanpur and surrounding cities were invited to participate in various competitions. The event included various competitions like painting, singing (solo and group), dance (solo and group), skit, poetry and fashion show. In all the competitions, musical presentations based on Rajasthan or its related culture were given. After the competitions, the best performing boys and girls were also rewarded.

I Stalls of food items related to Rajasthan like Dal-Bati-Churma, Gatta Masala, RajasthaniKadhi-Kachori were also set up at the venue of the event. The parents and other people who came there thoroughly enjoyed these Rajasthani dishes.

Along with this, stalls of items related to Rajasthani attire and lifestyle like kurta, turban, bangles, jewellery, paintings etc. were also set up for people to buy. Which is very famous not only in entire India but also in foreign countries.

Special tableaus of the famous KhatuShyamji temple and SalasarBalaji temples of Rajasthan were also put up, arrangements were also made for darshan and distribution of prasad of the actual temples. Due to which the people coming there experienced the sacred happiness by accepting the Prasad of these temples. Finally, for the entertainment of the people, a cultural evening was also organized from 7 pm on both the days in which on Saturday, 22 July 2023, Rajasthani folk music was performed by Sarwar and Sartaj Khan, famous folk singers of Rajasthan, who made headlines with the song HanikarakBapu of Dangal. And dance performances were given and on the second and last day of the program on Sunday 23rd July 2023, a wonderful evening was organized by singer Sawai Bhatt who rose to fame from Indian Idol. Which was greatly appreciated by everyone.
